Nissan has two models for Pathfinder, as SE and LE. 3.5-liter DOHC
24-valve V6 engine is standard for both the trims. Both models have
240 hp @ 6000 rpm. Torque is generated as 265 lb-ft of torque @ 3200
rpm. Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System (CVTCS), Nissan
direct ignition system with platinum-tipped spark plugs, electronic
drive-by-wire throttle, fuel tank skid plate and variable intake system
are standard for both the trims.
Electronically
controlled 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission, and front engine
with rear-wheel drive (4x2 models) is standard for both. Front engine/2-speed
shift-on-the-fly transfer case is standard for SE (4x4 models) whereas
front engine/all mode 4WD® system (4x4 models) is standard LE. Power-assisted
vented front disc/rear drum brakes, 4-wheel anti-lock braking system
(ABS), all-terrain antilock braking system (ABS) for 4x4 models and
electronic brake force distribution (EBD) is also standard for both
the trims. Suspension and steering features are standard with front
independent strut suspension, rear 5-link coil-spring suspension with
rigid axle, front and rear stabilizer bars and engine-speed-sensitive
power-assisted and rack-and-pinion steering system are standard.
Other
standard Interior convenience features include, air conditioning (rear
a/c ducts on 4x4 models), power windows with one-touch auto-up/down
feature on front windows, power door locks, remote keyless entry,
power heated outside mirrors, cruise control with steering wheel-mounted
controls, retained accessory power delay (30 seconds), battery saver,
12-volt DC power outlets (front, rear, and cargo area) and cup holders
(front and rear). They also have overhead sunglasses storage with
map lights, front door map pockets and coin tray and center console
with dual-level storage.
