Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System (CVTCS), Nissan direct ignition system with platinum-tipped spark plugs, electronic drive-by-wire throttle and variable intake system are standard for both the trims. Front engine and front-wheel/all wheel drive are standard for all. Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) is standard for both however Six-speed manual mode CVT is standard for SE. Front vented disc/rear vented disc brakes, 4-wheel antilock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD) and brake assist features are standard.

Suspension and steering features are standard with front independent strut suspension, rear multi-link suspension, front and rear stabilizer bars, sport-tuned suspension (firmer springs and firmer struts/shock absorbers for SE, engine-speed-sensitive power-assisted and rack-and-pinion steering system are standard. Other standard Interior convenience features include information center with 6.3" LCD monitor and multiple displays, steering-wheel-mounted cruise controls, power windows with front windows one touch auto up/down and anti-pinch feature alongwith power door locks and remote keyless entry. Also standard are remote front window down with key-operated front windows up/down and HomeLink� Universal Transceiver. Nissan has further provided Murano with cruise control, variable intermittent speed-sensitive windshield wipers and auto-dimming rearview mirror with digital compass.
