The new 2013 Jaguar X Type is available in two models, the X Type
2.5 and the 3.0. The 2.5 ltr V6 has an impressive 192 horsepower,
which will go from 0 - 60 mph in 7.9 seconds with standard five-speed
manual transmission with a continuous variable intake camshaft and
4 all-wheel drive. For a base model this new sedan from Jaguar packs
a lot of punch. 3.0 has a 3 liter V6 X-TYPE engine with 227 horsepower
and will achieve 0 - 60 mph under 6.7 seconds manual version, under
7.2 seconds for the standard automatic. Also with this new X-Type
you'll get continuous variable intake camshaft timing and variable
geometry intake manifold for a performance across the rev. The 2013
Jaguar X-Type sedan's both models can be equipped with either a five-speed
manual or a five-speed automatic transmission. The 2.5L model can
be optionally equipped with a power moonroof and a split/folding rear
seat in package formation. The 3.0L is available with several more
options such as Xenon headlamps, a vehicle navigation system and an
Alpine sound system with a CD changer. Optional packages for the 3.0L
include the Premium Package and a Sport Package with sport suspension,
18+ alloy wheels and performance tires. Both models feature standard
luxury equipment such as leather bucket seats, automatic climate control,
and steering wheel touch controls.
